Northern California Jamboree - 100th Anniversary
April 16-18, 2010
Over 15,0000 scouts and families from all over California are projected to attend a special 100th Anniversary Jamboree at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton.  This event is designed for the ENTIRE family, including Cub Scouts!  Among the events:  A special musical opening, activities and demonstrations, entertainment, extreme sports, field sports, interactive displays, high adventure, historic Brownsea Island, a Mountain Man Village, an Order of the Arrow Village, mountaineering, static displays, today’s technology, Jamboree on the Air, and much, much more will highlight Saturday.  Oh! let’s not forget to mention that YOU will continue to experience our Reenactments and Living History from Friday and the Merit Badge Midway.  Oh yes … Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Ventures and Explorers will be able to “dive’ into interactive activities designed just for them.  And … there is more.  Saturday night we will all experience the thrill of celebration at the evening arena show to be held at the Grandstands.  WOW! Saturday will be really big.

NEW: Scout Day with Snoopy
May 8, 2010
Cub and Boy Scouts will enjoy an afternoon of fun with hands-on art activities at the Schulz Museum and ice skating at Snoopy's Home Ice in support of their art and ice skating merit badges.  Meet a real cartoonist and learn to draw your own cartoons, create you own animation and experience many more activities, plus get a special Shulz Museum patch!  Download the Scout Day with Snoopy flier for more information.

Pomo District invites all Miwok Scouts to their annual Camporee and Cuboree.  This years theme is:  SCOUTING THRU THE YEARS in honor of the Centenial celebration.  Location is Lake Sonoma.  Plan early, pre-registrations are a must.
